WHAT DOES BYOC MEAN? WHAT ARE THE ‘LAN GAMING HALLS’?
BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer / Console) is a ticket-type for the Insomnia Gaming Festival, one which allows you to bring your PC or Console to the event for the weekend in order to connect to and game on our LAN.
If so, you can gain entry into our LAN arena hall from 6:00pm Thursday evening. Don’t forget, EAS tickets can only be added to BYOC & Weekend Festival tickets.
HOW DO I CHECK-IN?
In order to get you into Insomnia59 as fast as possible we’ll need to scan your ticket barcodes and we’ll also need to check your ID, so make sure you have both ready.
DO I NEED TO PRINT MY TICKETS?
It’s entirely up to you. If you want to keep it old school you can print your tickets out on paper. Alternatively, you can display them on your smartphone or tablet. The important thing is that we’re able to scan the barcode. No scan, no entry.

FAST TRAVEL TO INSOMNIA59
If you’re heading to Insomnia by train, you’ll find us located less than a ten-minute walk from Birmingham International Railway Station. You won’t even need to step outside. You’ll find many train services connect directly to Birmingham International, however if you’re travelling from further afield you may need to catch a connecting train at Birmingham New Street, which is only a 15 minute journey away.
